6.1 Maintenance Routine
6.1.1 Checking Lifting and Lowering
1 Check lifting and lowering of the forks according to [Using Control Lever Page 9].
2 Check all moving parts, including wheels and bearings, for any deformation or damage.
3 Lubricate hinge points if necessary.
6.1.2 Checking Internal Electronics
Open the battery case and the control cabinet, and check for the following items:
Check the cables for any loose connection or damage.
Check for moisture.
6.2 Cleaning
Special Notes for Cleaning
Use only such cleaning agents that do not act on the plastics used in the scale.
Only use disinfectants and cleaning agents in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Do not use highly acidic, highly alkaline or highly chlorinated cleaning agents. Avoid substances with a
high or low pH value since increased danger of corrosion otherwise exists.
Be particularly careful when cleaning the interior.
The weighing system (without printer) meets up to the protection class IP65. This means that dust or
moisture (rain or water beam from all sides), will not influence the operation of the electronics. However,
high-pressure cleansing in combination with warm water or chemical cleansers will lead to the entry of
moisture and therefore negatively influence the operation of the system.
The bearings of the wheels (non-polyurethane) and the pivoting points of the leveling bar of the loading
wheels must be cleansed and greased regularly.
