2.3.b - Fixed installation

The air conditioner can also be installed with fixed holes in windows or walls.
Air flow must not be obstructed by protective mesh or similar.
Any forms of protection must have a total cross-section for air flow of not less than 140 cm
a. make a hole with diameter of 135 mm in the glass or wall, at a height from the ground between 300 and
1050 mm (fig.11).
b. Position the flange (6) on the hole in the wall and mark the drilling points. (Fig.12)
c. Remove the flange (6) and make 6 mm holes. (Fig.13)
d. insert plugs (t) into the holes. (fig.13)
e. Position the flange (6) on the hole in the wall and fix it using three screws (V). (Fig.13)
f. Insert the end of the flexible hose (4) onto the air outlet from the appliance (30) as illustrated in figure 8.
g. Connect the other end of the flexible hose (4) onto the flange (6) (fig.14).
h. Remove the flexible hose (4) of the flange (6) and close the latter with the cap (9) when the equipment
is not running (fig.15).

2.4 - DRILLING THE WALL

this operation should be carried out using the proper tools to facilitate your work and prevent excess damage
or disturbance to your client.
the best tools for drilling large holes in walls are special drills called core borers with very high twisting torque
and adjustable rotation speed depending on the diameter of the hole to be drilled.
To prevent the creation of large amounts of dust and rubble due to drilling, the core borer can be fitted with
a vacuum system applied by means of suction cups to the drilling zone.
Our Service Department can give you all necessary information to enable you to find these devices.

2.5 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

The appliance is fitted with a power cable with plug.
Before connecting the air conditioner ensure that:
• The voltage and power frequency values match those specified on the
appliance plate data.
• The power line is equipped with an effective earth connection and is
correctly sized for maximum power consumption of the air conditioner.
