SUN SENSOR SENSIBILITY SETTINGS:
1. Press S
2. Leds 6, 7, 8 and 9 show the actual setting for 8 seconds
3. press S again and select one of the 4 possible thresholds
Setting
Sensor OFF
Sensor ON.
Threshold: low intensity
Sensor ON. Threshold:
low/medium intensity
Sensor ON. Threshold:
medium/high intensity
Sensor ON.
Threshold: high intensity
The sun sensor works as follows:
When light intensity remains over the threshold for more than 2 minutes the radio
sensor gives the motor the command "OPEN".
When light intensity goes below the threshold and remains like that for more than 15
minutes the radio sensor gives the motor the command "CLOSE".
In both cases, any time light intensity varies below or over the threshold, due to clouds
for example the delay timer starts counting 2 or 15 minutes again.
Sun sensor operating led (9):
Led 9 shows the sun sensor status:
LED 9 ON
Detected Light intensity over the threshold
LED 9 OFF
Detected Light intensity below the threshold
LED 9 blinks
the sun sensor is sending a command to the motor
Sun sensor Activation/Disactivation
For this function the QCTL transmitter is provided with a dedicated button.
In case any other Gaposa transmitter is used:
a) press buttons UP + STOP to switch the sun sensor ON (the awning opens if light
intensity is over the threshold)
b) press buttons DOWN + STOP to switch the sun sensor OFF (the awning closes)
