Device description
The PS-LED power supply can only be used in combination
with an illumination controller and an LI 01 type LED light.

Functions
Standby mode
• If the rotary button on the IC 01 illumination control is set
to '0', the light source will be switched off (19).
• After running for one minute, light sources will switch off
automatically and the controller will idle in energy saving
mode. Any slight movement of the cross-slide or adjust-
ment of brightness on the illumination control will cause
the light sources to switch on again.
Normal operation
• The rotary button on the illumination control is set to a
position between '1' and '10'. The light source is switched
on.
Brightness levels, slit illumination:
Level 1 (min.) Approx. 20'000 Lux
Level 10 (max.) Approx. 450'000 Lux
Brightness levels, fill illumination FI 01f:
Level 1 (min.) Approx. 700 Lux
Level 10 (max.) Approx. 15'000 Lux
Brightness levels, fill illumination FI 01p:
Level 1 (min.) Approx. 1'500 Lux
Level 10 (max.) Approx. 30'000 Lux
Reduced operation
In order to be able to ensure a long life time for the light
source, fill lighting power will be slightly reduced once the
maximum operating temperature has been reached. Full
power can be used again after a couple of minutes. This
operating state only arises when both light sources have
remained switched on simultaneously for a considerable
