General safety notices
• For your safety and the safety of others, read these
operating instructions and the safety notices be-
fore using the product. Safely store the operating
instructions and safety notices for future use and
keep them available for every use.
• Pass along the operating instructions if ownership
of the machine changes.
• Users of the machine must not be under the influ-
ence of intoxicants (e.g. alcohol, drugs or medica-
tion).
• Only ever use the machine in the technical condition
stipulated and supplied by the manufacturer. Unau-
thorised changes to the machine negate the manu-
facturer's liability for damages resulting from this.
• Use the machine in day light only or under good
artificial lighting.
• Use the machine in dry weather conditions only.
Keep it away from rain and wet conditions. Water
ingress into the machine increases the risk of an
electric shock
• Turn the machine off and remove the safety key
under the following conditions:
- when the machine is left unattended;
- before checking, cleaning or other work on the

warning labels must be replaced.

• Do not use the machine when there are people (es-
pecially children) or animals close by.
• Stop the work when you notice that people (espe-
cially children) or pets are close by.
• Working on steep slopes can be dangerous.
- Ensure secure footing and mow slowly.
- Always mow across the slope rather than up and
down.
- Be especially careful when changing direction.
