Comply with local and national safety requirements when you work in hazardous locations. Use correct protective equipment, as
G
required by local or national authorities when you work in hazardous areas.
Do not work alone.
G
Do not measure a battery's internal resistance if the battery's voltage exceeds 36V.
G
When an input terminal is connected to dangerous live potential it is to be noted that this potential can occur at all other terminals!
G
Use only the test leads specified by the factory.

Caution
To avoid possible damage to the meter or to the equipment under test, followthese guidelines:
Disconnect circuit power and discharge all capacitors before testing resistance, diode, continuity and temperature.
G
Use the proper terminals, function and range for your measurements.
G
Before measuring current, check the meter's fuse and turn off the power to the circuit before connecting the meter to the circuit.
G
Before rotating the range switch to change functions, disconnect test leads from the circuit under test.
