2.4.5.3. COM2 with Discrete I/O Connections
The COM2/Discrete I/O option board (Figure 2-61) is positioned in option position 1 on the main
board, and provides the COM2 serial port with two isolated inputs and four dry-contact normally
open relay outputs. The inputs can be selected as either active or passive based on the position of
the slide switch on the board.
