Installation and Putting into Operation
6.1
General Information
Danger!
Electric shock possible!
Spray water and steam jets in the operating site are forbidden.
Only use authorised mains power connectors.
Check that the details on the type label on the machine correspond
with the electrical connection at the operating site for the machine.
The machine may not be connected in the event of any deviations.
Only have work carried out on the electric power supply by a
qualified electrician.
Warning !
Keep the device out of reach of children.
The machine may not obstruct emergency exits.
Heat accumulation and risk of fire!
Keep the ventilation slots free (a distance of more than 10 cm).
Do not place the machine close to flammable objects.
Notice !
Never place the machine on or against a heat source.
Damage may occur to the vacuum pump when operated at ambient
temperatures of < 10°, fill using low-viscosity oil.
The surrounding has to be dry and well ventilated. Please use the standards for
environment conditions cited in chapter: "Technical Data".
Set up the machine so that it is horizontal and secure.
Remove the transport locks (e.g. foam inserts).
Check the oil reading for the vacuum pump. Wherever necessary, top up with oil.
Proceed as set out in the chapter "Maintenance and Troubleshooting".
Plug in the main electrical supply plug to the power connection.
