4 Transport and Storage
Transport inside the facilities:
Notice!
If the machine is inclined by more than 10° the oil can reach the
exhaust filter, smoke and pump damage can happen.

In this case, change immediately the exhaust filter
(see chapter 8: Maintenance and Troubleshooting)

Do not tip the machine with oil when transport.

Secure the sealing pad and insertion plates in the vacuum chamber to prevent
slipping (transport lock) or remove the insertion plates.

Subsequently remove the transport locks upon completion of transportation.

Do not kink the mains power cable where it leaves the housing.
Storage:
Ambient conditions in the storage room as for operating the machine
(see chapter ‚Technical Data')

Keep water and water vapour away from the machine.

The vacuum pump must be packaged prior to any lengthy period of storage.
