Recommendations:
If necessary, please ask your dealer for assistance with
maintenance and replacing the battery.
1.
Ensure that the battery cables are connected prop-
erly and secure the cover once again.
2. Do not use the battery to charge telecommunication
devices or other articles.
3. The battery performance varies with outdoor condi-
tions; the driving performance is lower in the winter.
If the vehicle is not driven for a longer period of time,
charge the battery at least once per month.
4. Replace both batteries at the same time.
Overload switch
Because of excessive loads, for example, due to steep
inclines, the overload switch can pop out in order to pro-
tect the motor and electronics from damage.

Tires
The condition of the tires is influenced by how you drive
the electric scooter and on what surface it is driven.
Please check the tread depth of the tires regularly. Re-
place tires when the tread depth is less than 1 mm. The
tire pressure for the best handling and range should be
approx. 2.5 - 3.5 bar.
Driving in the street
You may drive your electric scooter in traffic on the side-
walk or bicycle path. Please be aware of the following:
You must ensure in any case that your scooter is in prop-
er working condition.
This includes:
• A functional braking system.
• Passive illumination: Red reflectors in the rear and yel-
low or white reflectors on the sides.
• Active illumination: White headlights in the front, red
rear lights in the rear, white or yellow blinkers as direc-
tional indicators.
Since your speed in street traffic could be underestimat-
ed or since you may be overlooked by other people in
traffic, you should take preventive steps:

• Wear light, reflective clothing and wear your safety belt
(if available).
• You may wish to attach a signal flag on a flexible post
to the scooter. These flags are available in a bicycle
accessory shop.
• Always drive defensively and anticipate the behavior
of other people on the road.
• Check whether the seat is correctly installed and
snapped into place in the forward position.
• Ensure that the steering column and the seat are ori-
ented for a comfortable driving position.
• Fold the armrests down so that you can place your
arms on them.
• Switch the ignition on. If necessary, switch the head-
light on.
• Check the battery display to determine whether the
current is adequate for your trip. If you are not sure
regarding the remaining energy, charge the batteries
before your trip.
• Set the speed selection to a setting which is safe and
comfortable for you.
• Check that the control lever is working properly.
• Check that the electromagnetic brake is working
properly.
• Ensure that your immediate environment is safe before
you drive on the road. Use a low speed setting when
driving on a sidewalk or indoors.
• Caution: Never operate the left and right side of the
control lever at the same time. As a result, you will not
be able to control your electric scooter and this can
lead to damage or injuries.
• Never switch off the ignition while you are driving since
this leads to an immediate stop and possible damage
or injury.
• Do not select the maximum speed when driving
indoors.
• Do not switch speeds while driving. A sudden change
in speed can jeopardize you and others and damage
your electric scooter.
• Do not place any magnetic objects near the electrical
parts of the electric scooter since these could impair
the safe operation of the electric scooter.
• Use caution when driving in high-traffic or crowded
areas.
• When driving in reverse, be aware of people and
objects behind your vehicle. During reverse driving,
the electric scooter emits an acoustic warning sound.
Stopping and parking
Completely release the control lever. The vehicle brakes
automatically and stops.
Switch the ignition key to OFF. Then take the key out.
