Warning signs:
Avoid accidents by always following the warnings notes
indicated in the users manual.
Never put your hand into the separators intake or outlet
while the separator is in operation.
Electrical installation:
The circuit must be completed by a qualified electri-
cian. He must ensure the installation of overload pro-
tection (the motor must never be connected to power
without it). He must also ensure the installation of a
no-voltage release relay so that the motor can never
restart automatically after a power failure.
In addition to the start/stop function normally incorporat-
ed in a system control panel, a separate lockable start/
stop switch as well as an emergency stop button must
be installed no more than 3 m from each separator.
The first of these will prevent any unintentional start
during service.
All local factory inspectorate regulations must also be
complied with.
The direction of rotation of the rotor is shown by an
arrow on the separator, see figure 1. If the direction of
rotation is wrong, the motor may become overloaded.

Installation:
Mount the gear motor on the separator as shown in fig-
ure 2. Always orient the gear with the worm at the bot-
tom, as this will ensure optimal lubrication of the gear.
In the event that the gear is supplied with additional
brass bleed screw, this must be installed to replace the
grey bleed screw. The brass vent screw is pressure-
compensated, and will prevent oil spills as the gear is
heated. Remember to remove the string in the bleed
screw before operation.

The separator can be connected to the blower and the
other pipe system as shown in figure 3. All connections
on the separator are dimensioned for Kongskilde's OK
160 pipe system.
