Congratulations on purchasing
the Alarm Transmitter. We
hope it will give you many
years of reassuring operation.
Please read through these ope-
rating instructions carefully.
They tell you how to set up the
system correctly and explain all
the system's features to you.
lisa system introduction
An alerting system requires at
least one transmitter and a
receiver. The transmitter captu-
res sound signals and trans-
forms them into digital signals
that are passed to a receiver by
the existing mains electricity
supply. The receiver then trans-
forms these digital signals into
light signals.
Channel selection
A digital transmission system
ensures the correct recognition
of each of the digital signals
from each transmitter. The
system has 10 different selec-
table channels, 0-9. The factory
setting for all lisa devices is
channel 0. Only where more
than one installation is required
in the same building will it be
necessary to select a different
channel for each system.
To select a channel, turn the
rotary switch on the underside
of the transmitter to the requi-
red channel number using a
small screwdriver.

Personal Call button
Pressing this button causes a
certain flash sequence on each
receiver. It is possible to call
people in other rooms this way.
This button also allows the lisa
system to be tested without
any connecting cables.
Duration of flashing signals
The factory setting for the
duration of the flash is 28
seconds for all lisa receivers.
However, you can reduce this
to 8 seconds if you wish.
To change the flash duration for
a particular transmitter, remove
the transmitter from the mains
socket and, while pressing in
the Personal Call button, plug
the transmitter back into the
socket. To switch back to 28
seconds remove the transmit-
ter from the socket and plug
back in again this time without
pressing the Personal Call but-
ton.
