A drone is audible:
• The cinch cable is defective.
• When playing back via a record player: Connect the ground cable of the record player to the receiver or
try disconnecting the connection.
Radio reception is bad:
• Check that the aerial is connected correctly.
• Place the cable aerial differently.
• Do not place the cable aerial on or near any metal parts.
• If the cable aerial has been shortened/cut off, good reception is no longer possible. Replace the cable
aerial.
• Replace the cable aerial by an FM aerial with amplifier (available as accessories) or connect the recei-
ver to a cable connection with analogue radio stations.
• Set the station more precisely.
• Switch from stereo to mono.
No RDS possible:
• The station offers no RDS signal.
• Reception is bad.
The sound is bad:
• Select a different setting for the internal equalizer.
• Switch the surround sound off or on.
• Observe that only a record player must be connected to the „PHONO" input.
• The volume is set too high.
• Check the balance setting of the receiver.
• Check if one or several speakers are connected with reversed polarity.
No recording possible:
• Connect the recorder to the connection „TAPE REC".
• Please note the operating instructions of your recorder.
The external subwoofer does not work:
• Only an active subwoofer can be connected to the „SUB-WOOFER LINE-OUT" connection (subwoofer
with line input and integrated amplifier). Connection of a passive subwoofer is not possible.
• Please note the operating instructions of your external subwoofer.
Some buttons of the IR remote control are without function:
• These buttons (e.g. „MEM", „CD STANDBY", etc.) are only intended for the CD player from the same
manufacturer. These buttons have no function for the receiver.
