PLUGGING IN THE TRANSFORMER
After the lights and transformer have been properly
installed, plug the transformer power cord into a Ground
Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protected socket.

Transformer without plug
This product is designed to be permanently wired to the
mains supply in a dry weatherproof enclosure through
a double pole switched fused spur which complies
to BS3676, fitted with a 3 Amp fuse. The installation
must conform to the regulations of the Local Electricity
Authority which could include the use of a plastic or
metal conduit to protect the cable. A 30 mA Residual
Current Device 'RCD' must be fitted to the mains supply.
IMPORTANT - The wires in this mains lead are coloured
in accordance with the following code:
BROWN - LIVE BLUE - NEUTRAL
The Brown lead should be connected to the Live
terminal, which may be marked with an 'L' or coloured
brown or red.
The Blue lead should be connected to the Neutral
terminal, which may be marked with an 'N' or coloured
blue or black.
The cord should be protected from abrasion, cuts or any
other damage.
The socket must be positioned in a dry and protected
place.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
1 A: IF - Light(s) do not turn on at dusk, make sure
that the light sensor is in a position where artificial light
sources will not affect the sensor's operation and that
sensor lense is clean.
1 B: Check to ensure fuse or breaker has not blown or
tripped.
2. IF - Light(s) do not switch on in any setting, check
GFCI or RCD.
2 B: Check to ensure fuse or breaker has not blown or
tripped.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always unplug or disconnect all appliances
in the pond from the electricity supply before putting
your hands in the water while the equipment is being
installed, repaired, maintained or handled. Never yank
the cord and never lift the appliance by the cable.
For cleaning, simply use a damp cloth. DO NOT USE
DETERGENTS OR OTHER CHEMICAL CLEANERS.
CAUTION:
• Transformer should be plugged into a GFCI or RCD
circuit breaker.
• Transformer should be mounted at least 3 metres
(10 ft.) away from the inside edge of the pond.
WARRANTY
PowerGlo Submersible 12 LED Pond Lights are
guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship
for a period of 3 years from date of purchase, under
normal usage. Items will be repaired or replaced at
manufacturer's discretion, free of charge. This warranty
does not apply to products that have been subjected to
misuse, negligence, tampering or accidental damage.
No liability is assumed with respect to loss or damage to
livestock or personal property irrespective of the cause
thereof. This warranty does not affect your statutory
rights. Failure caused by misuse is not covered by this
warranty. This warranty does not cover the light bulbs.
