Utilisation: The MedCharge® 4000 Li-Ion charging station is only to be used by authorised
and trained personnel. The MedCharge® 4000 Li-Ion charging station charges only 2.5 V KaWe
rechargeable battery handles and/or 3.5 V (NiMH) rechargeable batteries as well as 3.5 V Li-Ion
rechargeable batteries. The battery type is detected automatically, i.e. NiMH or Li-Ion and the
charging characteristics are controlled as is appropriate for each type. Charging cell type Sub
C Li-Ion 3.5 V with 2250 mAh; type AA NiMH 2.5 V with 1600 mAh or type AA NiMH 3.5 V
with 700 mAh.
Purpose: The rechargeable batteries are to be used as an energy source for the relevant KaWe
products.
Unsuited use/contraindication of the products: Any use other than that described here
is not in accordance with the intended use of this product. The manufacturer is not liable for any
resulting damages. The user alone bears the risk.
Further instructions, maintenance, storage: When used and stored properly, your KaWe
MedCharge® 4000 charging station will serve you reliably for many years.
Safety instructions: 1. Before the first use, the rechargeable handles must be
charged at least 10 hours! Caution: do not use dry cell batteries – risk of explosion! 2. Before
