INSTALLATION
l Install the transformer in a dry place, for example, in the garage, a barn, or under a shed.
Fasten the transformer with the screws provided.
l Press the metal pin in the ground in close proximity of the transformer. Make sure that the pin
is not more than 2 cm visible above the ground. Poor water to the pin en stamp the earth.
l Fasten the green grounded wire to the green knob of the transformer and the eye of the wire to
the eye of the pin, with the help of the bolt and washers provided. If necessary, the length of the
wire can be shortened.
l With the help of the insulators provided the garden fence can be placed. Place the insulators in
two rows ca. 15 cm above each other and a maximum of 3 metres from each other. Thread the
black electric wire through the eyes of the lower insulators, make a knot at the end and fasten
the same wire to the ground pin. Stretch a second electric wire through the upper insulators.
Stretch the wires taut and so that there is no contact with plants.
l Connect the red pulse wire to the red knob of the transformer and the other end of this wire to
the upper electric wire with the help of a connector provided.
l By plugging the transformer into the socket, the installation is complete. When the LED lamp
on the transformer is illuminated, the Garden Protector is working. You can test the installation
by feeling the electric pulses with a blade of grass on the upper wire. The LED lamp on the
transformer blinks with every pulse.

Draw peoples attention, especially children, to the installed Garden Protector.
When working in or around the garden, it is advisable to unplug the device.

l This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
l Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection
facilities. Contact you local government for information regarding the collection systems avail-
able. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can
leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
