switches the motor off before the motor is able to
reach a critical temperature. After a cooling period
of approx. 3–5 minutes the machine is once again
ready for operation and can run at full load. The
cooling period can be greatly reduced if the ma-
chine is running (idling or recovery speed).
7.2 Cutting Depth Adjustment
Release the locking lever [1-16].
Set the required depth on the cutting
[1-15].
Raise: smaller cutting depth
Lower: larger cutting depth
Re-tighten the clamping lever
To achieve the best cutting results, the
should protrude from the material by no more than
3 mm.
7.3 Cutting Angle Adjustment
Release the cutting angle locking lever at [1-7] and
[1-18].
Set the cutting angle as required using the scale
[1-19]. (The scale is calibrated in 1° increments).
Re-tighten the cutting angle locking lever at [1-7]
and [1-18].
WARNING
The maximum cutting depth is reduced for
bevel cuts.
7.4 Cut indicator
The cut produced by the HK 132 E depends on the
bevel setting and can be observed at the cut indica-
tor.
7.5 Parallel Guide
Various parallel guides can be inserted into the ma-
chine base plate [2-2] on the left [2-3] and on the
right [2-4].
Tighten the parallel guide using the winged screws
[2-1].

To extract dust, suction adapter [1-1] can be mount-
ed on the sawdust ejector through which common
extract hoses of dust extractors can be connected.
7.7 Replacing the Saw Blade
WARNING
Risk of injury
 Before exchanging the saw blade, pull the
mains plug from the power sup ply socket.
 Wear protective gloves!
The sawing performance and the quality of the
cut depend essentially on the condition and tooth
form of the saw blade. Therefore, use only sharp
saw blades that are suitable for the material to be
worked.
Swing back the swinging guard with the lever [3-5].
Install a suitable saw blade according to the illus-
tration and tighten. Take care that the mounting
flange [3-4] and the clamping flange [3-2] are cor-
rectly positioned. The holes in the saw blade [3-3]
must fi t onto the follow-up pins on the mounting
fl ange [3-4].
WARNING
Risk of injury
 Observe for installation: The cutting direction
of the teeth (arrow on the saw blade) must
match the direction of the arrow on the guard.
 Check the function of the swinging guard.
Tighten the hexagon bolt [3-1] using the SW19 Allen
key supplied, while holding the clamping fl ange
[3-2] with the single ring spanner which is also sup-
plied.
To remove the blade, follow the same sequence in
reverse.
