TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The air conditioner does not function
at all
The remote controller does not work
Unit is making a loud noise
Unit is making a continuous knocking
noise or pinging sound
Air conditioner is not cooling at all
What to Check
• Make sure the unit is plugged into a
grounded outlet.
• Press the reset button on the Power
cord.
• Check the house fuse/circuit breaker
box.
• Check to see if the water reservoir is full.
Drain the unit and restart.
• Reservoir is not in the proper position.
• Make sure three minutes have elapsed
from time unit has been powered on.
• Install new batteries
• Reinstall the batteries correctly
• Replace the batteries
• Make sure the unit is on a level surface
• Remove any objects that may have
jammed the fan
• Shut off unit and let unit sit on a level
surface for at least 24 hours and restart
• If problem persists, contact customer
support.
• Set the unit to COOL mode and lower
the set temperature.
• Wait three to five minutes to allow the
compressor to begin functioning.
• The ambient temperature may be too
high. Unit may not function if ambient
room temperature is above 95°F.
• Check to see if the filters need to be
cleaned.
• Remove any obstructions from the ex-
haust hose and port.
