25. Code the trailer connection unit to "ohne Schwenkfunktion"(without hinge function) in the
selected diagnostics and the listed functions:
\body\electrical systems\69 - trailer function\J345 - control unit trailer detection, functions\
J345 – code control unit, (Rep.-Gr. 96) "ohne Schwenkfunktion" (without hinge function).
26. Check the operation of the trailer using suitable test equipment (with load resistances) or with
a trailer.
27. Check the entries in the error log and if necessary delete.
28. Using the Software Versions Management (SVM) system of the selected diagnostics, perform
an on-line document retrieval for the vehicle with the action number 050 200.
29. Secure all cables with cable ties.
30. Re-fit all disassembled parts.
