When using the machine, always observe the
enclosed safety instructions as well as the
additional safety instructions.
Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas
and benches invite injuries.
Keep children away.
Do not let children play with the machine.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. They can be caught in
moving parts. Wear protective hair
covering to contain long hair.
Use safety glasses, a dust mask and
protection gloves. Also use ear protection
if the noise level exceeds 85 dB(A).
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times.
Check for damaged parts. Never use a
damaged machine. Damaged parts must
be properly repaired or replaced by an
authorized service center.
Avoid unintentional starting. Always
disconnect tools when they are not in

Always use a suitable cable according to
the specifications of this machine.
Always keep the area of the power supply
socket free when operating the machine.
You must always be able to disconnect
the machine immediately when
necessary.
Never unplug the machine by pulling the
cable.
Never unplug the supply cord when the
machine is operating.
Do not force the machine. It will do a
better job and operate more safely at the
rate for which it was intended.
Maintain tools with care. Keep tools clean
for better and safer performance.
Consider work area environment. Do not
use electric tools in damp or wet
locations. Keep work area well lit. Do not
use electric tools near flammable liquids
or gases.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES FOR HOT-
AIR GUNS
Beware: this hot-air gun works at
temperatures between 300-600°C
without any visible sign of this
temperature.
Beware of the hot-air flow: it can cause
burns.
Avoid touching the mouthpiece while the
machine is in operation: because of the
heat the mouthpiece can cause burns.
Fire can start if the machine is not used
with care.
Do not use the machine too long in one
place.
Be careful in areas with flammable
materials in the vicinity. Remember that
heat can be carried over to flammable
materials which are not in sight.
Never use the machine in explosive
areas.
Never use the machine under damp
conditions.
Do not use the machine as a hairdryer.
Never aim the hot-air flow at yourself or
others to dry clothing or footwear.
Never aim the hot air stream at electrical
wiring or power outlets because of risk of
electric shock.
