Mounting:
B)
-
Put the microscope in its stand and if equipped with an illumination, switch on the illumination.
-
Turn the diopter ring (1), till the graticule is net for your eye.
-
Adjust the sharpness of the image by a reference piece (by moving the microscope or the
reference piece up or down).
Eventual recentering of the goniometer (2):
C)
The microscope has been carefully centered and checked before dispatching. However it is
recommended to check once again its centering before using, due to the possible shocks during
transport that may have caused a misalignment of the different optical elements.
Checking of the centering:
Align the vertical line of the turning graticule (goniometer „G") on the vertical line of the
1.
reference piece.
2.
Turn the goniometer (2) of 180°. The vertical lines should be now superimposed.
(If not please refer to point D) „recentering").
Align the horizontal line of the turning graticule (goniometer „G") on the horizontal line of the
3.
reference piece.
4.
Turn the goniometer (2) of 180°. The horizontal lines should be now superimposed.
(If not please refer to point D) „recentering").
