Fault:
Engine not starting
Possible cause:
– MB 650 T, MB 650 V, MB 650 VE,
MB 655 V: Motorstop lever not
pressed.
– MB 650 VS, MB 655 RS, MB 655 VS,
MB 655 YS: Throttle lever is in Stop
position.
– MB 650 VE: Battery discharged or
defective.
– No fuel in tank; fuel line blocked.
– Inferior, dirty or old fuel in tank.
– Air filter dirty.
– Spark plug socket detached from spark
plug; ignition lead not properly fastened
to socket.
– Spark plug dirty or damaged; incorrect
electrode gap.
– Lawn mower housing blocked.
– MB 650 VS, MB 655 RS, MB 655 VS,
MB 655 YS: Throttle cable disengaged
or defective (e.g. kinked).
Remedy:
– MB 650 T, MB 650 V, MB 655 V:
Press motorstop lever to handlebar and
hold. (

MB 655 YS: Set throttle lever to Choke
or Start position. (
