To insure proper electrical operation from the timer to the

base remove the timer as needed and clean the electrical
contacts on both timer and base.
Note: If the hose faucet is installed in a cold region, the timer and valve
must be removed to prevent the faucet from freezing.

The timer can be removed from the valve and placed in a
more convenient location using a wire remote adapter.
