Display during washing:
PerfectWater: RO water is optimised before it is used for rinsing.
WaterEco: The water quality for rinsing is set to quality 1 ( 3.2). The time of the pro-
gramme is increased and additional water is consumed.
Display in wash breaks:
The membranes of the reverse osmosis module are automatically rinsed after a wash
break of approximately four hours (also when the machine is switched off).
The washing programme with RO water is selected.

Service
We recommend that you have an authorised service technician carry out the maintenance of the machine at
least once a year so that vulnerable parts subject to ageing and wear can be checked and replaced if neces-
sary. Original replacement parts must be used.
Such components include:
Water supply hose
Dosing tubes
Door seal
The reverse osmosis module membranes
Active charcoal filter

Taking the machine out of operation for more than 28 days
Possible microbial contamination on the reverse osmosis module membranes when
out of operation for more than 28 days.
Contact an authorised Miele service technician for preservation of the membranes of the re-

verse osmosis module.
The maximum preservation duration is nine months. After this time, preservation must be car-
ried out again.
Empty the machine using the self-cleaning programme (see the quick guide).
Machine cleaning (see the quick guide).
Have the membranes of the reverse osmosis module preserved by a service technician.
Close the on-site water tap.
Switch off the on-site mains disconnector.
Keep the machine door open.
