Why is the Manilux especially suitable for use with diabetics?
Because the speed is continuously adjustable and the device stops if too much
pressure is used, the unit can also be used safely by persons who have reduced
sensitivity to pain or are unable to react quickly to pain. Also, the sapphire
accessory heads only remove dead skin.
Why are there so many heads?
Each head is designed to solve a particular problem for the hands and feet and
therefore especially effective and safe in use.
Can several people use one MEDISANA Manilux?
Yes. But in any case it is best that each person has its own set of the accessory
heads to prevent the transmission of skin diseases.
They can be obtained separately from MEDISANA AG.
1. ON/OFF switch

2. Clockwise/anti-clockwise rotation
The switch for clockwise/anti-clockwise rotation

once. Changeover may also be performed whilst the unit is running.
3. Speed controller

NOTE
The unit switches off automatically if the grinding head
becomes blocked at high speeds. In this case, re-start the unit.
4. Automatic quick-acting chuck
The unit is fitted with a safe, push-in chuck which locks automatically
and which is provided for the numerous grinding attachments and accesso-
ries and has the standard dental dimensions (2.32 mm – 2.35 mm Ø). Switch
the unit off. To change the attachments, first pull off the part that is not
required then push the desired attachment in carefully until it meets resi-
stance. The attachment is locked in firmly as soon as the unit starts up.
5. Illumination
Above the opening for the attachments on the front of the unit are two LED
lights
which automatically light up the grinding surface when the unit is
switched on.
