Installing the electronic control head on the radiator valve
Note: The actuator is factory set in the position with fully open valve (to facilitate installation). The motor is not
started when the batteries are fitted; the actuator starts regulating only after binding to the controller. It is
therefore advisable to always install the actuator on the valve before proceeding with binding. At first starting,
the reset procedure is performed (check of the radiator valve stroke). If necessary, the actuator factory settings
can be restored. See the section "SPECIFIC PROCEDuRES".

Forcefully manually
screw the adapter
(provided in the
package) onto the
valve.

Fit the control head
on the valve. Holding
the release lever
down, firmly push
perpendicular to the
valve attaching the
control head to the
adapter.

Fit the two 1,5V AA
penlight batteries
respecting the
correct polarity.
The red LED will blink
twice.

You can use the
tamper-proof kit if
installing in public
places in order to
prevent theft or
damage. Screw the
locking screw into the
dedicated hole.

Press with a pen on the
locking pin, as shown in the
figure, and extract the cover.

Fit the safety locking ring (in
the package).

Refit the cover on the control
head body.

Installation of the control head is
now complete and it is ready for
binding to the controller. The
red LED will continue blinking
twice every two minutes until
binding is complete.
(at this stage, the control head
is inactive)
