1. IMPORTANT REMARK
Congratulations! You are the owner of a carefully designed and manufactured equipment. We
thank you for having purchased our DPC processed system.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read this manual before connecting the unit in order to obtain its
maximum performance.
We recommend our authorised Technical Services whenever any maintenance task should be
needed so that optimum operation shall be achieved.
1.1. Safety Precautions
The DPC is capable of delivering maximum sound pressure levels greater than 150dB SPL at 1
meter. These sound pressure levels can cause permanent damage to human hearing. Protect your
ears when working at high power next to the system.
The DPC is a closed sound system designed to operate exclusively with ECLER amplifiers and the
DP300 digital processor, not only offering a well-balanced sound, but also ensuring perfect operating
safety. Using other components than the specified ones, be it from ECLER or from other manufactures, will
both worsen the system performance and mean a risk of serious damage to your loudspeakers.
The mids-highs enclosures DPC215 should be connected with 4-core cables. DO NOT use
conventional 2-core cabling (see paragraph 3.4)
2. INTRODUCTION
The DPC7000 (DIGITAL PROCESSED CABINET) has been specially designed for fixed or
mobile installations where high sound pressure levels and exceptional audio quality is required. We are
talking about a processed system capable of delivering a maximum SPL level of 150dB/1m.
The system consists of two DPC215D midrange / high frequency enclosures, four DPC118
subwoofer enclosures, the DP300 processor and following amplifiers, according to the version:
DPC7000D
DT6800
DPC7000P*
DPA4000T
The digital loudspeaker processor ECLER DP300, apart from actively dividing the audio
spectrum into three bands, equalizes each of these bands, allows accurate phase correction and delay
on each way. Additional system protection is provided with the use of a built-in compressor/limiter. The
DP300 can be remotely configured via the included software and can be set-up to either suit the D or P
version of the DPC7000. For further information about the DP300 processor, please refer to its specific
user manual.
This process is combined with the anticlip circuits from the high frequencies amplifier DPA600
and the A2SP (Analog Autogain Signal Processor). The A2SP is an Autogain protection and intelligent
anticlip system controlled by an VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier) and is included with the DPA2500T
and DPA4000T amplifiers. This anticlip system has different operation levels depending on the transient
signal type.
