[A000005] 4. ASSEMBLY RECOMMENDATIONS
Prior to assemble and operate the door, the guidelines contained in this instruction
should be read carefully. All assembling and operating instructions must be strictly
observed. It ensures the correct assembly, and durable and failure-free operation.
All works related to door assembly must be carried out in described order.
[A000006] 5. REQUIRED ASSEMBLY CONDITIONS
The door should be used and operated in compliance with its intended use.
Selection and application of doors in construction industry should be based on
technical documentation of the facility developed in compliance with regula-
tions and standards in force.
[B000005] The doors can be mounted to reinforced concrete walls, those
made of bricks, or steel frameworks. A room intended to mount the doors should
be finished completely (plastered walls, finished floor), walls must not have any

faults in quality of work. The room should be dry and free of chemicals being
harmful for coating paints.
Both side walls, and frontal wall and door assembly opening lintel must be verti-
cal and perpendicular to the floor, and must be finished.
It is prohibited to install the door in a room in which fin-
ishing works are still to be done (plastering, gypsum fin-
ishing, grinding, painting, etc.).
Floor in bottom sealing area must be levelled and constructed in such a way
as to ensure free water drain. Appropriate ventilation (drying) of garage must
be ensured.
• Installing of electrical drive unit to the door by profes-
sional installer or competent person is to be done ac-
cording to the Assembly and Operating Instruction of
the drive unit.
• [C000184] It is prohibited to open the door leaf if the
guides are not mounted.

[D000477] 6. ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE SSp, SSj, SSt
Activities which must be performed by Professional Installer or Competent person.
Please keep the list of garage door's component parts (specification).
Prior to installation works, check the dimensions (width and height) of the as-
sembly opening. Carefully perform further installation as shown on the figures.
The maximum torque for tightening sheet metal screws to the panel is 7÷9 [Nm].
When this torque is exceeded, the connection can be broken.
Fig. 20
Fasten the mounting plate in the middle of the assembly opening.
The plate must be fastened to the lintel with 4 screws. When install-
ing the SSj door with one long spring, the mounting plate should be
shifted in relation to the middle of the opening. The relevant distance
between the spring and cable drum should be observed (fig. 40).
Fig. 30
When the guides are installed, check the diagonals. The differ-
ence of the diagonals should be max ± 3 [mm].
Fig. 35
Exploded view of the shaft with one or two springs. Observe the col-
our marking of drums and springs during its assembly on the shaft.
Fig. 40
The SSt door cannot have the additional bracket installed in the
middle of the guide connection profile, since it must be free to ac-
commodate the automatic drive.

Install anti-drop safety device with cable.
Fig. 50.2;65 Install the hinge and adjust the rollers. Ensure that the rollers contact
the guide. Then, tighten the nut that controls the roller position.
Fig. 70.1.
Top roller bracket should be mounted in such a way as to ensure
that the roller contacts the guide.
Fig. 75
When winding up the cable on a drum, ensure that minimum two
cable revolutions remain on a drum, when the door is in its ultimate
closed position.

On the lock side, screw the rod slightly to ensure its free move-
ment. On the bolt side, provide fast joining.
Fig. 77.3c
Place the lock bracket to the frame at the level where the lock is
mounted to the panel, and mark out the holes. Make the holes
using 8.5 [mm] drill.

Tighten the springs according to the SPRING TIGHTENING
RULES.

Prior to the first opening of the door, check its correct installa-
tion acc. to the Assembly and Operating Instruction. The door is
installed properly when its leaf/ curtain moves smoothly and its
operation is easy.
