Follow operating instructions.
Risk of explosion! Detonating gas is generated in the battery during charging.
Battery acid is corrosive and MUST be kept away from eyes, skin and
clothes.
Possible sources of ignition, fire, sparks and naked lights, must be kept
away from the battery.
The charger heats up depending on operating conditions. Ensure an ade-
quate supply of fresh air during charging. This charger contains components
such as switches and relays that can cause arcing or sparks. Only use the
charger in the stipulated areas or fasten it at least 50 cm (approx. 18 in.)
above the ground.
Connect battery poles correctly: (+) red (-) black
Stop charging before disconnecting the charger lead from the battery.
Risk of electric shock from accumulation of output voltages when connec-
ting individual charging circuits in series. Individual charging circuits must
never be connected in series.
Chargers may only be opened by a qualified electrician. Arrange for a
qualified electrician to replace any damaged cables and leads immediately.
