COMMISSIONING
Note that with the MESL tap, a wall clearance of at
least 100 mm is required.

Secure the tap body from below with the mating fi tting and
the adapter sleeve. You can increase the stability on thin tiles
if you fi t the plastic piece included from below against the tile
(MES only).

Install the waste set as shown in the following illustration. Seal
the upper outlet part from above with suitable sealant.
10.2 Water connections
Never interchange the water connections. Otherwise
!
the water heater is subject to mains water pressure
that could damage it.

Place the butterfl y valve in the short pipe, marked with a blue,
upward pointing arrow.
»
Connect this short pipe to the right-angle valve.
»
Insert the longer pipe, marked with a blue, downward pointing
arrow into the cold water connection of the water heater.
»
Insert the longer pipe, marked with a red, upward pointing
arrow into the DHW connector of the water heater.

11. Commissioning
11.1 Filling the water heater

Pull the lever upwards and pivot it to the left.
»
Wait until the water is fl owing from the spout without bubbles.
11.2 Checking the fl ow rate
If the fl ow rate is too low, you can remove the butterfl y valve again,
which you fi tted during the assembly of the water connection.
Observe that you stay within the maximum permissible fl ow
rate range. The fl ow rate could be too low if mains pressure is
inadequate.
With non-pressurised water heaters the following
!
fl ow rates must not be exceeded when the tap is
fully open:
5 l/min with
5 l water heater
10 l/min with
10 l water heater
11.3 Switching on the water heater
Only turn the water heater on once you have drawn bubble-free
water from the hot water tap.
