3.2. Safe connection

• Connect the appliance to a freely ac-
cessible, properly installed 220–240 V ~
50 Hz power socket only.
• The plug must be freely accessible so
that you can disconnect the appliance
from the mains quickly and easily in the
event of emergency.
• Lay the cable so that nobody is able to
step on it or trip over it. Do not use an
extension cable.
• Do not kink or crush the mains cable.
• Always remove the mains plug from the
socket.

3.3. Safe use

• Pull the plug from the socket if you do
not plan to use the appliance for an ex-
tended period or if a storm is imminent.
