usage of the device by reading and follow-
ing each chapter of this manual, in the order
presented. Keep these operating instruc-
tions for further reference.

This manual contains important informa-
tion on operating and handling the device.
Keep these operating instructions for fur-
ther reference. Please pass it on along with
the unit if it is handed over to a third party.

1. Explanation of the symbols

The following symbols are used in the user
manual or on the product:
Warning! To reduce the risk of
injury, the user must read the
instruction manual.
Denotes risk of personal injury, loss
of life or damage to the tool in case
of non-observance of the
instructions in this manual.
CE stands for "Conformité
Européenne", which means "In
accordance with EU Regulations".
With the CE marking, the
manufacturer confirms that this
Electric tool complies with the
applicable European directives.
Do not dispose of electric power
tools with domestic refuse.

2. Additional safety warnings

Please read this manual carefully
and use the unit only according to
this manual.
• Always keep all labels on the device
clean and readable.
• Only use the device for domestic pur-
poses and in the way indicated in this
manual. The device is not designed for
continuous, professional use.
• Keep hands and clothes away from the
rod and the plunger area. Otherwise
your fingers or clothes may be pinched.
• Hold the tool firmly.

• Always work in a well ventilated area
and wear proper protections in accord-
ance with the operation.
• When operating the adhesive gun over-
head, do not have the plunger rod in the
path of your eyes or head. The plunger
rod may slip back in the direction of the
user. Always wear eye protection when
using the adhesive gun. Please note
that when applied, the sealant can
come off and fall into your eye. Use eye
protection when using the caulking gun.
• Always work in properly ventilated area
and wear appropriate respiratory pro-
tection if necessary. Fumes from some
caulks and adhesives can be noxious.
• Only use accessories that are recom-
mended by the manufacturer for your
model. Accessories that may be suita-
ble for one tool may be hazardous when
used on another tool. The use of
improper accessories may cause risk of
injury to persons.
• Take care not to get caulk or adhesive
on battery contact points.
• Always read and follow all manufactur-
er's instructions regarding caulk or
adhesive. Failure to do so may result in
personal injury.

Electrical safety

• Always switch off the tool before install-
ing or removing of the battery cartridge.
• Hold the tool and the battery cartridge
firmly when installing or removing bat-
tery cartridge. Failure to hold the tool
and the battery cartridge firmly may
cause them to slip out of your hands
and result in damage to the tool, battery
cartridge and/or a personal injury. To
remove the battery cartridge, slide it
from the tool while sliding the button on
the front of the cartridge. To install the
battery cartridge, align the tongue on
the battery cartridge with the groove in
the housing and slip it into place. Insert
it all the way until it locks in place with a
little click. If you can see the red indica-
tor on the upper side of the button, it is
not locked completely.
