from the appliance and its power supply.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before first use
•
Clean the appliance using dry cotton cloth prior to first use. Wash the plates and the drip tray thoroughly.
We do not recommend washing in the dishwasher! The salts are very aggressive and can cause damage in
the long term. Do not use abrasive powders or abrasive cleaners.
•
Carefully dry the plates before reinstalling them into the appliance. Make sure that the plates are properly
secured in the appliance.
•
Do not forget to return the drip tray in its place.
•
Unwind the power cable fully.
Note: When using the first time, the appliance may emit certain odor. This is normal and it disappears gradually
during use. For this reason we recommend that you „burn" the grill for at least 30 minutes without foods
before first use.
Food preparation
Warning:
•
Do not use the appliance for defrosting or cooking of frozen foods. All foods must be completely defrosted
before processing by this appliance.
•
The plates and the metal surfaces of the appliance become very hot during operation. Use oven mitts to
prevent burns and touch only the handle or other designated parts.
•
Do not use metal utensils, which could scratch and damage the non-stick surface of the plates.
Notes:
You can use the grill in 3 positions. 1) Baking 2) Grilling 3) BBQ.
•

It takes about 2 to 3 minutes to reach working temperature, for times of cooking see the
table at the beginning of the manual.
•
These guidelines are only for orientation, the time of cooking depends on the type and
thickness of the foods.
•
The foods should be thoroughly cooked before eating. If you are not sure, better
lengthen the cooking time somewhat.
The position for baking and grilling
Baking: You can decide if the upper plate will bake the food directly (contact grill) or if you leave a space
•
between the food and the upper plate and will just heat the food from the top – position (1).
•
Grilling: You can heat just the bottom plate and leave the upper plate fixed in 90° position - position (2).

Make sure that the drip tray is properly inserted in the appliance.

Make sure that the grilling plates are properly set and secured.
3.
Place the grill on a level and dry surface and plug the power cable in the electrical outlet. The grill switches
on and the POWER indicator lights up.

Set the required temperature of the plates using the thermostat control and
let the grill heat up. The heating of the plates is indicated by green light of
the appropriate indicator. Once the plate is heated to the set temperature,
the indicator goes off.
Opening the grill:

• Check if the grill is heated up to the required temperature (indicators
DOWN and UPare off ).
• Use the handle to open the lid with the upper plate (rider to adjust the
height of the grill on the right side of the upper plate must be in the
"OPEN" position).
Do not immerse in water!
