6.5 Storage
• Figure D: smoothies are intended for
immediate consumption. For shortly stor-
ing a smoothie, screw a lid|9 onto one of
the blender jugs|5/6. Then, it is best to
put the smoothie in the refrigerator. Both
lids|9 fit onto all blender jugs|5/6.
• Remove the lid|9 by unscrewing it.
6.6 Overheating protection
The device has an overheating protection
system. If the device has been in operation
for too long thus causing the device to be-
come too hot, it automatically switches off.
• In this case, pull out the mains plug and
allow the device to cool.
• You may then put the device back into
operation.
7. Cleaning
Clean the device prior to its first use!
DANGER! Risk of electric

~ Pull the mains plug|4 out of the wall
socket before you clean the smoothie
maker.
~ The base unit|1 and the power cable
with the mains plug|4 must not be im-
mersed in water or other liquids.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
~ When washing manually, the water
should be sufficiently clear for you to
see the blade assembly|7/8 easily.

~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.

After every use
• Clean the device and all individual
parts used after each use and remove
all food residues.
• Prior to cleaning, all parts must be sepa-
rated (e.g. remove the ring|10 from the
blender jug|5/6).
Base unit
Wipe off the base unit|1 and the power ca-
ble|4, using a lightly moistened cloth. Dry
with a dry cloth.
Manual cleaning
1. The accessories (blade assemblies|7/8,
blender jugs|5/6, the lids|9 and
rings|10) can be cleaned with warm
water and some detergent.
2. Afterwards, rinse all parts with clean
water.
3. Allow all parts to dry completely before
you put them away or use the device
again.
Dishwasher
The following parts can be cleaned in the
dishwasher:
