5. Then connect the tube drive to the motor connecting terminals. If
terminals
you wish to connect several drives without an electronic limit stop,
these must be decoupled via relay controls.
Installing the LS10 light sensor
1. Remove the locking screw from the back of the light sensor and
remove the top part of the housing.
2. Connect the connecting cable to the terminals (any polarity), screw
in the enclosed strain relief and fix the cable with it. The housing can
then be sealed with the cover.
3. Fix the light sensor to the exterior wall or the roof with the metal
bracket provided. It is also possible to fix the light sensor to the wind
transmitter, using the enclosed mounting plate. To do this, select a
location at which the sunlight can be freely measured and where
objects such as trees, roofs, etc. will not affect the light measure-
ment. The sensor must not be shaded by the extended sunshade!
The cable entry must point downwards.
4. Connect the connecting cable of the sensor to the WindControl, as
shown in the connection plan on page 23.
Warning
Electrical tasks must only be performed by appropriately
qualified personnel.
Before touching the board or additional components, al-
ways ensure appropriate earth bonding, in order to avoid
damage to the electronics due to static charging.
Note
The radio must be installed in order to evaluate the light
sensor!
Please note that the exposure of the light sensor to exter-
nal lighting installations (including at night) can result in
the shade extending.
