Proceed as follows for measuring:
- If required, put the enclosed wind protection (1) onto the measuring microphone (2).
- Switch on the meter by pushing the operating button (8).
- The meter always is in sound level measuring function "dBA" after activation.
- Point the measuring microphone (2) directly at the sound source to be measured. The
distance from the sound source to the measuring microphone should be approx. 1 m.
- The display shows the measured sound level in "dBA" (decibel according to evaluation
curve A).
- After completion of the measurement, switch the meter off again by pushing the opera-
ting button.
