7. Initial use

7.1 Inserting the batteries
Before you can use the drink manager, you must first insert two 1�5 V AAA batteries into the battery compart-
ment of the drink manager�
Proceed as follows:
1� Open the battery compartment lid on the bottom of the drink manager�
2� Insert two 1�5 V AAA batteries into the battery compartment� Make sure that the batteries are inserted the
right way round (+ / -), as shown in the battery compartment�
3� Close the battery compartment lid until you hear and feel it click into place�
4� Place the drink manager on a firm, even surface� The LED display lights up red during calibration of the
drink manager� Do not touch the drink manager until you hear the acoustic signal� If the LED display flashes
red, you now have to connect the drink manager with the "beurer HealthManager" app� To do so, follow the
instructions in the following section�
