The R-080130 is a practical furnace specially designed for heating cylinders and crucibles
within the field of dental prosthesis. It is perfect for those works that do not require a classical
programming cycle of ramps and plateaus. Just select the set point temperature, and the furnace will
start heating directly until this temperature is reached. Then, this temperature will be kept for a time
programmed by the user.
Its digital controls ensure an amazing temperature accuracy and prevent the effects of thermal
inertia. Besides, it features a connection for an external catalytic converter, and this element will
operate from the beggining of the cycle up to the stopping temperature programmed by the user.
This is an especially quick furnace, capable of reaching 1000 ºC in 50 minutes aproximately.

INSTALLATION
Carefully unpack the unit. Inside the box there should be an SiO
•
muffle lining the inside of the furnace has suffered no damage during transport.
Set the furnace up on a smooth, firm, horizontal base away from any source of vibration. Allow
•
enough space for ventilation. There should be no other objects less than 15 cm from the unit.
Ensure especially that the ventilation tube is free and at least 20 cm from the closest object or wall.
During normal furnace operation fumes may filter through the ventilation tube. This tube should
•
therefore be placed below an extractor hood.
Connect the unit to a 230 V, 50/60 Hz, earthed power outlet which protected by a thermal
•
magnetic cut-out with a suitable amp rating (consult your installer).
Before using the furnace heat it up to 300 ºC and hold it there for one hour to evaporate off any
•
moisture in the muffle.
PROGRAMMING
Set point temperature
It is the temperature that the muffle will reach.
Keep the door open to prevent the furnace starting to heat. Then, turn the main switch (C) on. The
•
upper display (G) will show the temperature inside the muffle
Press the SET key (F). The lower display (H) will show the message "SP", the set point
•
temperature.
Use the keys to select the set point temperature. You can use the
•
Waiting time
It is the time that the furnace will keep the set point temperature once this is reached. The unit is
factory pre-programmed for 1 hour waiting time.
Once the set point temperature has been inserted, press the SET key again. The lower display will
•
show the message "St", waiting time.
Use the keys to select the heating time in hours and minutes (hh:mm). You can use the
•
key to shift the digit.
Press the SET key to store the programming.
