5. Align the 2 Screed Sections, making sure all the parts and holes line up together (See Image 5)
6. The Connecting Nut has both a Left Hand and Right Hand Thread. This must match up with the Threads of the Locking Nuts on
each of the Screed Sections (See Image 6)
7. Tighten the Connecting Nut so that the 2 Screed Sections are pulled together. Continue to do this until the 3 holes and the Screed
Blade and Bracing sections are inline on both sides. (See Image 7)

8. Insert the 6 x Bolts into the 3 holes on each Screed Section. Screw on the Nuts but do not tighten at this stage. Leave loose.

9. Separate the 2 x End Frame Sections by removing the 2 x Bolts and place 1 Section at each end of the assembled Screed
Sections.(See Image 9) Ensure the Winches are on the double edged side of the Screed.

10. Remove the Vibrating Pots from each end of the assembled Screed. This is where the End Frame sections will bolt onto the
assembled Screed (See Image 10). The Vibrating Pots are only removed when tting End Frame Sections to an assembled
Screed. The removed Vibrating Pots can now be used as Spares.
11. Remove Winch Pulley Bolt from each of the End Frame Sections (See Image 11).
12. Then, line the 3 holes of the End Frame Section up with the holes in the Screed Section (See Image 12)
