To install a blade guard and saw blade
CAUTION:
guard for the blades. See
page 24 .
1. Remove the mounting plate (H).
2. Install the adapter (I) and bracket (J) with the two
screws (K).
3. Install the blade guard (A) to the adapter using the 4
screws (L).

4. Install the drive disc (B) on the output shaft.
5. Turn the blade shaft until one of the holes in the
drive disc aligns with the corresponding hole in the
gear housing.
6. Insert the locking pin (C) in the hole to lock the shaft.
7. Put the blade (D) and support flange (F) on the
output shaft.
8. Install the nut (G). The nut must be tightened to a
torque of 35-50 Nm (3.5-5kpm). Use the socket
wrench in the tool kit. Hold the shaft of the wrench as
close to the blade guard as possible. To tighten the
nut, turn the wrench in opposite direction to the
direction of rotation.

9. When loosening and tightening the saw blade nut,
there is a risk of injury from the teeth of the saw
blade. Therefore always ensure that your hand is
shielded by the by the blade guard. Always use a
socket wrench with a shaft that is long enough to
allow this. The arrow in the diagram shows the area
where you should operate the socket wrench when
loosening or tightnening.
To attach the transport guard
1. Attach the transport guard on the blade as shown in
the illustration.
