Mark a point on each nipple ⅝" from the surface of
the finished wall
Carefully cut the nipple at this point.
Installation
Seal the wall around the nipples with
waterproof sealant.
Flush the hot and cold supplies thoroughly

Damage to the thermostatic mixer caused by debris is
not coverd by the Hansgrohe warranty.
Wrap the nipples with plumbers' tape.
Install the adapters.
Over-tightening the adapters may
cause damage to the adapters or to
the nipples.
The adapters should extend 1½" outside the surface
of the finished wall.
