7. Concerning the steps taken to prevent toppling
● Measures to prevent the pedestal and the plasma
display from toppling over include the following
three methods. Select the method best suited to the
installation location.
1. Securing with anchor bolts
2. Securing with wires or chains
3. Combination of methods 1 and 2 above
1. Securing with anchor bolts
● Move the pedestal to the position where the user wants
it to be installed. (In order to anchor the stand, leave
a gap where it will be possible to slide the rear cover
more than 12 cm (4.7 inches).)
1. Release the caster locks, and move the
pedestal to its installation position.
2. After checking the installation position, lock
the casters.
3. Check whether the plasma display is
leaning. If it is, use the adjusters to set it
upright.
Adjustment procedure
 Loosen the adjuster anchoring nuts.
 Use the adjusters to change the height so that the
inclination is adjusted.
 Tighten up the adjuster anchoring nuts to fix them in
place.
4. Tighten up the anchor brackets  (2 at the
left and 2 at the right) which are provided
as accessory parts of the frame part and
the adjuster fixtures (nut side) together at
the four locations on the outsides of the
adjusters, and secure firmly.
Anchoring procedure
 Slide the rear cover 12 cm (4.7 inches) toward the back.
 Remove the adjuster nuts.
 Attach the anchor brackets.
 Secure the brackets using the nuts.
 Secure the brackets using the anchor bolts.
 Move the rear cover back to the front.
