10. Problem solving
If the appliance malfunctions, please check first if you can eliminate the error your-
self with the help of the following overview.
Never try to repair the appliances yourself. Contact our Service Centre or other qual-
ified personnel if a repair is necessary.
Problem
The steam cleaner
does not work.
The steam pressure
is reduced.
Steam leaks from
connecting pieces.
Cleaning cloths are
too wet.
11. Disposal
Packaging
The product has been packaged to protect it from damage in transit.
Packaging is raw material and can be re-used or added to the recycling
system.
Appliance
Old appliances should not be disposed of with the normal household
rubbish.
In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU, the appliance must be proper-
ly disposed of at the end of its service life.
This involves separating the materials in the appliance for the purpose of recycling
and avoiding any impact on the environment.
Take old appliances to a collection point for electrical scrap or a recycling centre.
Contact your local waste disposal company or your local authority for more infor-
mation on this subject.

Check the power plug/socket.
Set the on/off switch to the position I.
The accessory or steam outlets are clogged. Discon-
nect the mains plug. Remove the blockage or descale
(see "8.2. Descaling the appliance" on page 109).
Disconnect the mains plug. Allow the appliance to
cool down. Fit the attachment correctly (see "6.2. Fit-
ting attachments" on page 105).
Disconnect the mains plug. Allow the appliance to
cool down. Remove the cleaning cloth. Wring it out or
use a new cleaning cloth.
