Daily cleaning procedure: Gas lava stone grill

CAUTION! Risk of crushing! Take the
necessary precautions when removing/installing
the parts! Note the weight of the parts!
. Remove cooking grate after it has
cooled down.
. Remove cover.
. Clean cooking grate
− with hot water or wire brush,
− rub dry with a fluff-free cloth.
. Clean cover with grease-cutting clean
ing agent or clean in the dishwasher.

. Remove cooking grate after it has cooled
down.
. Remove lava grate.
. Remove lava rock from lava grate.
D Do not clean lava rock with a wire brush!
. Clean lava rock with a soft brush and
hot water without additional cleaning
agents.
D Dry lava rock before using again.
. Replace lava rock if it is
− extremely worn out,

− or so porous that it breaks or gives off
− an unpleasant smell during heating up
. Cooking grate and lava grate
− Clean with wire brush, scraper, grease-
cutting cleaning agent or clean in the
dishwasher,
− rub dry with a fluff-free cloth.
