Service / Maintenance
The crimp tool should be checked at regular intervals by qualified personnel.
We recommend an inspection by our service department, at least annually.
Daily servicing by the users includes cleaning and lubrication of all moving parts of the tool. In addition,
the tool must be checked for damage and wear, in particular the receptacles for crimp inserts and pivot
points.
The tool must be stored in a dry location. If stored for long periods below 5°C, the tool should be he ated
to room temperature for at least an hour before being used.
The operating pressure should be checked and the hydraulic oil replaced after approx. 10,000 duty
cycles. To avoid damaging the hand pump, we strongly advise having this work carried out by our service
department.
If the tool is not required, close the handles and keep it in a clean and dry place.
