Crimp insert Assembly

1. Open the crimping head by pulling the catch. The pivot yoke, supported by spring pressure, now folds
to the side.
2. First place the upper crimp insert half in the fixed receptacle of the crimping head. Push the crimp
insert half into the receptacle until it is held in place. Make sure the crimp insert half is securely
positioned.
3. Now place the bottom crimp insert half in the bottom, mobile receptacle of the crimping head. Push the
crimp insert half into the receptacle until it is secure. Make sure the crimp insert half is secure before
starting work (Figure 5).
