Keyboard & Mouse
You can connect a keyboard/mouse through one of the following types of ports:
• The PS/2 keyboard port
• Four USB ports
, two on the right, and two at the rear of the computer
• The serial (mouse) port
Note: Only connect one keyboard/mouse to the computer at any time to avoid resource conflicts and system instabil-
ity.
Mouse Driver
If you are using an ex-
ternal mouse your oper-
ating system may be
able to auto-configure
your mouse during its in-
stallation or only enable
its basic functions. Be
sure to check the de-
vice's user documenta-
tion for details.

Special Characters
Some software applications al-
low the number-keys to be
used with Alt to produce spe-
cial characters. These special
characters can only be pro-
duced by using the numeric
keypad (usually on the right of
the keyboard). The regular
number keys will not work.
Make sure that NumLock is
on.
