Inserting Nordforest Titan 80 Mechanical Felling
Wedge
When felling cut is made to 60% of the trunk diameter and the tree is
secured with safety wedges, the Nordforest Titan 80 Mechanical Felling
Wedge can be inserted into the felling cut.
Risk of damage to the Nordforest Titan 80 Mechanical Felling
Wedge due to incorrect handling!
If the Nordforest Titan 80 Mechanical Felling Wedge is inserted in
the felling cut at an angle or is not properly centred, the spring steel
plates and lifting wedge can be damaged.

Ensure that the Nordforest Titan 80 Mechanical Felling Wedge is
centred with respect to the felling cut (see Fig.).
›
Ensure that the felling wedge cannot impact against the hinge.
