Limitations Of Use - Sperian 4BA Notice D'utilisation

These instructions are intented for use with the SPERIAN 4BA.
4BA must only be used in accordance with the Instructions given and for the purpose stated in
these User Instructions. Incorrect use could result in danger to life or health.
PROTECTION AND USAGE
4BA is a fresh air hose breathing apparatus class2 (heavy construction), in strict compliance
with European standard EN138 and used with a full face mask (PANORAMASQUE or
COSMO), itself in strict compliance with European standard EN136.

LIMITATIONS OF USE

•
This apparatus is not self-contained. Breathable air must be taken in a safety area,
through the hose φ35 (Maximum length : 20 meters).
•
Never use gas filter or dust filter instead of the strainer.
•
Never use the strainer directly screwed on the full face mask.
•
Never crush or pinch the breathing hose.
•
Use temperatures : -10° C +50° C
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Unpacking Instructions
•
Carefully remove the 4BA from the packaging.
•
Check that the equipment is complete. 4BA shall not be used if it is damaged or
incomplete.
Storage
•
Do not store outside the temperature range -20° C t o +50° C or in an atmosphere with
relative humidity above 90%.
•
Store the 4BA in its casket away from dust.
Pre-use checks
•
Read the user instructions for the device attached.
•
Check that the 4BA is not deteriorated.
Working method
•
The hose allows to take breathable air (atmospheric pressure) and to transport it to a full
face mask.
•
This hose has a capacity of 1 liter / linear meter also the user can take the inhaled air
without feel the pressure drops.
•
A strainer avoid the foreign bodies inside the hose.
•
A harness is used to carry the breathing hose.
