Mover Aqua
Mover Aqua is a transfer platform developed to provide smooth, convenient transfer transfer indoor/flat surfaces.
It's easy to use and helps transfer patients safely and conveniently. Mover has a narrow base frame and double
castors for easy manoeuvrability even in confined spaces. Mover has a stable platform and comfortable seat
cushions, and thanks to constant eye contact with the carer, the user always feels comfortable and confident. The
new Mover Aqua is specially designed to be used also in showers. PU cushions together with stainless solutions
makes this possible. Hygiene management is improved as well.
1. Intended use
The Mover Aqua – Transfer Platform is a mobile transfer platform with a safe working load of 180 kg. The product
is intended for indoor use on flat surfaces for moving care recipients and residents at hospitals, nursing homes or
in home healthcare. The product is only intended to be used for care recipients who are able to stand up without
assistance or who can stand with minimal assistance. The product is not intended for long periods of sitting or
moving. The product is intended for moving a care recipient to/from a chair, bed, wheelchair or toilet. In this con-
text, "care recipient" means the person being moved.
The Mover Aqua model is also constructed in such a way that it can be used in the shower.
References to directions in this document (left/right, forwards/backwards) are always based on the carer's pushing
position/facing the care recipient.
Mover Aqua is intended for indoor use only in Home Healthcare environment and Professional Healthcare facility
environment.
2. Contradictions, Precautions and Warnings
Contradictions
This device is only intended for moving care recipients. No other use is permitted.
The device may not be used by patients above the maximum weight indicated on the label of the device.
This device is not intended for long transporting of users, only for short transfers.
Precautions
Check that the device is used on flat surface.
Check the device is correctly mounted/assembled before its first use.
Check the device after every folding after any transport.
Inspect the device regularly to detect any signs of damage. If there are any visible signs of damage, contact
Direct Healthcare Group Customer Service.
It is important to never leave the user alone during the transfer.
Warranty applies only if repairs or alterations are made by personnel who are authorized by Direct Healthcare
Group.
Ensure that there are no obstacles or people in the way of the transfer device.
Check the function of brakes before use.
Always use the brakes when the user is getting on and getting off the device.
Activate the brakes whenever the lift is not in use.
Low speed is recommended when moving the device when a user is using it.
Take care not to drive the device over thresholds with high speed or force.
